Frequently Asked Questions

What is Kelzai Volcanic Water?

Volcanic water refers to Kelzai’s unique volcanic filtration; the water originates Sayhadri hills that were formed from Volcanic Activities over a millenia ago and is filtered through thousands of feet of porous lava rock. This process naturally enriches the water with minerals and electrolytes, while also keeping harmful contaminants away.

Where is Kelzai Sourced from?

Kelzai is sourced from aquifers deep within the Sahyadris where the water has been filtering through volcanic rocks and soil for thousands of years. Taking on the rich mineral properties, naturally alkaline essence and a soft crisp flavour profile. Kelzai truely is a gift from the gods

What are remote aquifers?

Under the earth, there are pools of water called aquifers. A confined aquifer is protected by a thick, impermeable, layer of clay and porous rock. The clay above the confined aquifer protects the water from contamination.

What is the pH of Kelzai?

Kelzai water is beautifully balanced and softly alkaline with a pH of 7.6 - 8 that helps maintain the natural equilibrium of the body and help you fight of diseases.

pH (potential hydrogen) is the measurement of the ratio of hydrogen ions (H+) to hydroxide ions (OH-) in a solution that expresses its relative acidity or alkalinity on a scale that ranges from 0-14. The higher the concentration of hydrogen ions in a solution, the lower its pH, and vice versa. A pH of 7 is neutral. Anything below 7 is acidic and anything above 7 is alkaline.

Naturally alkaline water has a chemical makeup that is vastly different from artificially alkaline water. Artificially alkaline water has undergone a process they call ionization or electrolysis to “trick” the water into thinking it has a certain pH, but possesses none of the minerals that are responsible for the health benefits of naturally alkaline water.

Lab-made alkaline waters might register a high pH (some touting a pH as high as 10), however most of these waters are devoid of the minerals and electrolytes that actually make alkaline water so good for you.

Is Kelzai Water good for you?

Kelzai Volcanic Water is naturally alkaline with naturally occurring minerals and electrolytes. It originates on the Mauna Loa volcano as rain. Then, it's naturally filtered through thousands of feet of porous lava rock, which enhances it with a blend of minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, and silica before finally emerging at the source as delicious Hawaiian volcanic water.

Why do I sometimes see white sediment in the Kelzai Water bottle?

Since Kelzai® is Sourced directly from aquifers within the sahyadris, it is abundant in natural mineral salts. Due to fluctuations in weather conditions in transit and storage, you may find salt precipitate at the bottom of the bottle in the form of very fine particles.

Don't worry, This confirms your water is sourced naturally and it is still completely safe to savour this divine curation.
